Welcome to my first journal entry , after months of writing with over 41 articles on Vinciani, it is time to document the work here.
I will do my best to keep the journal page updated as possible, so you can follow how my journey is unfolding.
Building a clothing brand takes a lot of patience, discipline and consistency.
I wanted to build a clothing brand on something that would resonate with people, as in my life I’ve seen people give-up, doubting themselves and not believing in what they want to accomplish.
Its hard for some when there’s no one to talk to, no inspiration, negativity everywhere. And we fake good days.
Then I remembered my mother of what she went through, the hard times, she never quit because she was laser focused with discipline.
The late nights on her sewing machine, she kept moving with a forward momentum and worked incredibly hard throughout her working life.
That’s when it hit, Strength, Discipline and Design, I had this idea of designing something powerful around it.
The logo had to remind the wearers what they’re capable of, so I sketched a horse, why? Because horses are companions on the journey, they are the symbols of victory.
Whilst sketching I needed a focal point, a eye contact from 10 feet away, so I designed a diamond eye.
Red = ignition so the diamond eye became it, and the horse became the emblem, and I circled it to complete the logo design.
My intention was to create a logo that can resemble power, prestige and luxury.
Imagination is truly powerful and seeing it evolve into reality of a digital logo is fascinating.
The first eyes to see the Horse Emblem, Mum, her smile said it all, and she told me “Your child memories built this”
